@andyrush I value the extra friction too. And if you make it a habit to choose a pull quote, that's just a good discipline to practice everywhere.

The automation I'd like would flow from the act of selection into a draft post, very much like how Hypothesis annotations do.

@judell So much rethinking going on – which I love. Hypothesis is part of it! Of the many blog posts in my head but haven't written yet is a "what Twitter features I want and don't want in Mastodon". I'm pretty much good though with what exists currently in Masto, except I wish people would stop with the threads. Threads in Mastodon, especially with 500 characters available, should be blog posts 😀
